Boys Lacrosse

BOYS SPRING

10U, 12U, 14U

Spring Start: Practices start March 28th, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, at Civic Center Peterson rink. Practices will be moved outdoors as soon as weather permits, or May 1st. 

Games: 8-16 games depending on level of play
April 15 – Thursday June 1, 2023
Week 1: April 15 & 16
Week 2: April 22 & 23
Week 3: April 29 & 30
Week 4: May 6 & 7
Week 5: May 13 & 14
Week 6: May 20 & 21
Week 7: May 27 & 28 (Off for Memorial Day)
Week 8: Spring State Tournament June 3-4 in Maple Grove

Teams primarily play double-headers on Saturdays or Sundays. There are limited weeknight games offered prior to June due to Officials availability. 

Spring Youth State Tournament: 
Sat & Sun June 3 – 4, 2023.
Fernbrook Fields, Maple Grove

BOYS SUMMER

12U, 14U Level

Summer start: Practices start the first week after Spring Tournament

Games: 10 games
June 12, 2023 - July 26, 2023
Teams primarily play single games on weeknights, but doubleheaders will be scheduled upon requests when able. 

Summer Regional Playoff Tournament:
July 29-30, 2023, Delano HS Complex

 

8U, 10U Level

Summer start: Practices start the first week after Spring Tournament

Games: 8-10 games
June 12, 2023 - July 19, 2023. 
Teams primarily play single games on weeknights, but doubleheaders will be scheduled upon requests when able. 

Summer Jamboree:
July 22, 2023, Delano HS Complex

Boys Box Lacrosse

Box Start: Late February for Practices 

Games Start: March 2022

Box End: - April 2022

No Tournament

*Games run on Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.​

 

Age and Eligibility Guidelines

The following age groupings are determined as of the August 31st preceding competition.

8U:

All players must be 8 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, teams should consider physical size, skill, and maturity.

10U:

All players must be 10 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, the program should consider physical size, skill, and maturity when organizing teams.

12U:

All players must be 12 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, the program should consider physical size, skill, and maturity when organizing teams.

14U:

All players must be 14 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding competition. It is recommended that when multiple teams exist within a program, the program should consider physical size, skill, and maturity when organizing teams.
